About the Expo
African Sporting Exposition: – “The Essence of Africa”
January 26-28,2012 – Charlotte Convention Center, Charlotte, North Carolina
A two and half day immersion into Africa’s wonders, the African Sporting Expo (ASE) features a “who’s -who” collection of the finest hunting, fishing and hunting safari outfitters from Africa as well merchants of exclusive sporting equipment, African wildlife art, optics, clothing and anything else for the African aficionado. Whether you are an African regular or just dreaming of your first dark continent adventure, the ASE is for you!
The Thursday afternoon through Saturday evening open to the public event is the first of its kind in the southeast and offers an intimate “private show” format so you can meet Africa’s premier and most respected outfitters face to face, ask questions in a comfortable exclusive atmosphere, and plan your dream safari. This is not your typical “big box” outdoor expo but rather an intimate one-on-one opportunity to experience “the essence of Africa” with her finest. Join us!

- Friday: 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Sunday: 11:00am – 4:00pm

Land Rover Experience Driving Schools provide a unique opportunity to take advantage of the unparalleled capabilities our vehicles have to offer. Accompanied by a professional Land Rover Experience Driving Instructor, you’ll learn to properly navigate steep ascents and descents, pick the right line on side tilts, and maintain vehicle control in challenging off-road settings. Whether avid enthusiast, seasoned adventurer or curious novice, each lesson will be customized to your individual skill level, so you’re assured of facing exciting yet appropriate terrain.
